Promotions Pave Way For Future Growth

MANCHESTER-based Property Perspective has promoted three team members hot on the heels of new client wins.

The property sales specialist, headquartered in Altrincham but operating across England and Wales, works with large and small housebuilders, property developers and housing associations. It can support them at every stage of their schemes, from initial land feasibility reports to selling the final few units.

Alex May, 28 from Chorlton, Manchester, has been promoted to the role of Relationship Manager. He will be a key point of contact between Property Perspective and clients, both new and existing, and will actively promote to developers’ site-based staff the help available to them with their assisted sales and part-exchange schemes.

Alex, who joined Property Perspective in 2018 as an Account Manager, says: “We have a unique plan behind what we do and why we do it, which is hugely successful. It is my job to ensure that sales teams have the confidence to go away and show that to potential customers.”

Alex had previously been involved with progressing sales for developers and dealing with different vendors and buyers; now, however, he is out visiting sites and developer sales teams to discuss what they can do best to drive schemes forward.

Jon Bryan, 52, who lives in Warrington, Cheshire, has been promoted to Valuation Manager after being a Senior Valuer for the past six years.

His new role will see him manage a team of four other valuers while also continuing to value properties for Property Perspective’s developer clients and their customers across the North West.

Jon says: “I will now take a more strategic role, review how the valuation team operates and look for ways to continuously enhance the service we provide.

I will also utilise my 30-plus years of experience to help my colleagues to develop their own experience and qualities.”

Jon has been in the estate agency business for his whole career; starting off in financial services at the age of 18 and was a financial manager with a team of six advisers to look after by the age of 25.

“I then stepped over to the property selling side of the business and, after having worked for a number of agents in a number of towns, had the opportunity to run my own sales and letting business in Brighton for seven years, which I sold in 2007.”

After a short spell living in Greece, he then returned to the UK and joined Barratt Homes in Yorkshire working in their part-exchange department.

At the same time, Karen Bury has been promoted to Head of Sales.

Karen, 34, who lives in Worsley, started with Property Perspective in 2016 as an Account Manager and then progressed to Team Leader. Her new role oversees the process of ensuring sales are progressed to exchange and completion more efficiently, which ultimately means the company is providing a better service to its housebuilder clients.

Karen says: “Having worked my way up within the business, I fully understand each of the account team’s roles and this helps me to push them to achieve their targets and meet their full potential.”

Property Perspective, which has offices in Leeds, Northampton and Cardiff as well as Altrincham, was recently appointed by three separate Redrow operations as well as Taylor Wimpey’s North West division.

John Jarvis, Managing Director, adds: “We have recently secured a number of new clients and we are always looking to expand our client list and offer our expertise to new home developers across England and Wales. These promotions will help us to position ourselves so we are able to deal with new business as well as work more efficiently with current clients.”
